HOUR 1: The Coven's Task & Choosing a Familiar

Main Objective: Students will introduce themselves as their witch character and choose a monster, describing it using simple adjectives.

Language Focus: Simple present (I am, He is), adjectives (colors, size, personality), possessives (my monster).

HOUR 2: The Paperwork & Monster Research

Main Objective: Students will fill out a simple form and read a text for specific information about monster care.

Language Focus: Answering what and why questions, reading for key information, vocabulary for daily care.

HOUR 3: The Shopping Trip & Persuasion

Main Objective: Students will practice reading for prices and write a simple letter giving reasons for their opinion.

Language Focus: Numbers, prices, I think... because..., sequencing words (first, also).

Note on the Shopping Activity: This activity serves as a bridge between research and persuasion. Narratively, it allows students to prove their preparedness to the adoption agency by showing they have bought the necessary supplies. Pedagogically, it provides a practical context for applying vocabulary from the reading, practicing numbers, and reading a text (the catalog) for specific information.

HOUR 4: The Interview & Adoption Day!

Main Objective: Students will practice asking and answering questions in a simple role-play.

Language Focus: Asking and answering simple present and future (will) questions.
